Hey girl!! Let’s backtrack to how it started and how Southern Roots ended up in Rockwall TX with all things pink + sparkly!! First meet the owner, Caroline Harklau! She attended the University of Texas in Austin majoring in Fashion design to pursue her daytime dream of owning a clothing store. Caroline and her husband, Jerad, moved to Arkansas in 2011 where she had the opportunity to open the first Southern Roots in 2012! God called them to move back to Texas when Jared's job changed and she opened doors to her hometown in Rockwall! Shortly after being home they sold the Southern Roots store in Arkansas in 2015
